The U.S. HUB Zone (Historically Underutilized Business) program provides businesses located within a HUB Zone priority consideration when submitting bids for federal contracts. Census Tract 503.02, just north of the Vero Beach Regional Airport, is designated as a HUB Zone as is the area west of I-95, and an area south of State Road 60 in and around downtown Vero Beach. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) offers loans to small businesses through a guarantee by your local bank, as does the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
